Step 1. Understand God’s Purposes–Peace and Eternal Life

God loves you and wants you to experience peace and eternal, fulfilling life.
The Bible says, “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).

Step 2. Admit the Problem–Our Sin and Separation

God did not create us like robots to automatically love and mechanically obey Him.
The first man and woman chose to disobey God and go their own willful way. This results in seperation from God.
The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12).

Step 3. Discover God’s Bridge–Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ died on the cros and rose from the grave. Though He was God’s sinless Son, He becave a human, took our place, and paid the penalty for our sin, bridging the gap between God and us.
The Bible says, “For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

Step 4. Embrace the Truth–Receive Christ

We must trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and receive Him by personal choice.
Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in” (Revelation 3:20).

Receive Christ in your life as your Lord and Savior, and have peace with God because it is through Lord Jesus that we have peace with God (Romans 5:1).

Real Peace

Praying for peace without genuine repentance is useless and futile. If a person prays for peace without sincerely realizing and accepting his sinfulness before God he won’t be able to find real peace in his heart and mind for the bible clearly teaches that “sinners have no peace (Isaiah 48:22).”

People must realize that only Jesus can give real peace for HE is the source of real and lasting peace. He said to His disciples, “My peace I leave to you. My peace I give to you ( John 14:27).”

If we want to really experience the peace that Jesus is talking about, we must accept and realize that we are sinners and unworthy of His love and sincerely repent of our sins and accept Christ Jesus as our LORD and Savior in our life and we will experience the real peace that Jesus has promised to His disciples. The God of peace will be with us.

Let the Peace of the Lord be with us all, amen!!!
