The Rooted Christian

“Now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him. Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” —Colossians 2:6-7 NLT

He (Jesus) said, “You are permitted to understand the secrets (mysteries) of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to my teaching, more undestanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.”
-Matthew 13:11-12, NLT

“But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.”
-Matthew 13:16-17, NLT

the leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller’s club.
* This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.

7. James, the Son of Zebedee,
was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of execution. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times for the sake of the Faith.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: But he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:22, KJV).

LIKE CHRIST   by Alex Ortiaga Nepumoceno, TLC-BAC Group (Posted on Facebook)

We have the mind of Christ.
-1 Corinthians 2:16

Here’s a far greater miracle God has “implanted” the mind of Christ in those who have accepted His Son as their Savior. First Corinthians 2:12 tells us that the Spirit of God has taken up residence in us. In some mysterious way, we now have a capacity for divine wisdom that no scholarly degree or natural experience could ever provide. Having the mind of Christ enables us to see life increasingly from God’perspective.

This doesn’t mean that we can think on God’s level and instruct Him ( verse 16). But it does mean that we have a new capacity to think, talk and act more and more like Christ Himself.

O Lord, forgive us for not using the good mind You have given us. Please help us to spend more time in Your Word absorbing. Your thoughts so that we can think, talk and live more and more like You.

May the mind of Christ our Savior live in us from day to day. By His love and power controlling all I do and say.

To think and talk like Christ, we must walk like Christ.

Kahalagahan Ng Muling Pagkabuhay Ni Cristo

Kahalagahan Ng Muling Pagkabuhay Ni Cristo (1 Corinto 15)

Sapagkat si Cristo ay muling nabuhay:

Motivational and inspirational speakers are not gospel ministers or preachers. They only teach to inspire and motivate people. They only teach what the people wanted to hear! They don teach the TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST in the Bible, instead MAN-MADE “FEEL GOOD GOSPEL.” This is the warning of the Bible about it:

“For the time is coming when they will not tolerate wholesome instruction; instead they will, to satisfy their own desires, gather up TEACHERS that will tickle their ears. They will turn from listening to the truth and will wander off to hear myths.” -2 Timothy 4:3-4

Some of the false teachers are:
Rick Warren, and
Kenneth Copeland (both advocate of Chrislam), and
Joel Osteen.
In the Philippines,
Bo Sanchez (Catholic lay preacher, motivational speaker), and
Bishop Oriel Ballano of G12.

True preachers preach about salvation by faith in Jesus alone by grace, justification by faith not of works, heaven, hell, second coming, judgment, eternal life and holiness.

God bless!

This is the TRUTH: JESUS is Not a flesh but GOD come in the flesh.

This is the TRUTH:

JESUS is Not a man but GOD manifest in the flesh.

John 1:1, 14 (NKJV)
In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelth among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
He had to be God in order to save us and become a man in order to die for us.
1 John 4:2-3 (NKJV)
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
2 John 7 (NKJV)
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an Antichrist.
1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.
Romans 1:3-4 (NKJV)
concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
Colossians 1:13-17 (NKJV)
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
John 3:16 (NKJV)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Philippians 2:6-11 (NKJV)
who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hebrews 2:17-18 (NKJV)
Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, beingtempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

—–Jesus, God in human form, experienced temptation. Dahil kahit kailan “God cannot be tempted by evil” (James 1:13).

Luke 22:70 (NKJV)
Then they all said, “Are You then the Son of God?” So He (Jesus) said to them, “You rightly say that I am.”

—–Sa Panginoong Jesus mismo nanggaling. Inamin Nya na Siya ang Anak ng Diyos.

—–Marami pang verses sa Bible ang nagsasabing Jesus is the Son of God, the God who manifest in the flesh.
